CRCN INSERM
I am a research scientist at Inserm (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research), and the prinicpal investigator of the ERC Starting Grant RADIANCE project. This projects investigates the biomedical applications of nanoscintillators and their potential to enhance the efficacy of radiation therapy through various mechanisms: X-ray induced photodynamic therapy, radiation dose enhancement, and DNA damage induced by UVC photons. In parallel, I also conduct research on photodynamic therapy for cancer treatment.
Physicist by training, I now work at the interface of physics and biology. Our research is firmly rooted in a multidisciplinary approach, combining Monte Carlo simulations and spectroscopic measurements with biological studies performed on innovative 3D cultures and in vivo preclinical models.
