Dr. Reynoird’s scientific journey began at the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon and his first internship at the Curie Institute in Paris, where he discovered the field of epigenetics and post-translational modification signaling. He pursued a PhD investigating protein acetylation signaling in spermatogenesis and cancer, before moving to Stanford University for his postdoctoral training, where he explored the roles of previously uncharacterized lysine methyltransferases in cancer. Recruited as a CNRS researcher at the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Dr. Reynoird established his own group, which now focuses on the impact of lysine methylation signaling on cell plasticity and disease.
