Associate Professor in Cell Biology, my research focuses on resistance mechanisms to targeted therapies in melanoma, particularly on the role of the tumor microenvironment and the crosstalk between growth factor receptors and integrins. I also investigate the optimization of orthopedic implants through nanotextured titanium surfaces with bactericidal and osteogenic properties. Finally, I collaborate on projects involving lanthanide-based complexes as probes for live-cell imaging.
